Alex "Jacko" Jackson closed his eyes tight, on Tuesday 28th July 2009 at 2:45pm after a long and
courageous time with a glioblastoma multiforma grade 4 brain tumour, living 28 months after
diagnosis when he was only given 14 months.
Alex never let the tumour get ahead of him. He lived his life as he always had, more so at times.
His humour never left him over the last 28 months, neither did his cheeky grin he was renowned for
or his laughter and joking around.
I decided to set this page up for Alex's friends and family, a place to go where we can leave our
thought's and share our memories. So I request that other's do not leave message's, photo's or other
additions unless you truly knew Alex "Jacko".
Thank you.
baby, ive just written a big message and the computer wiped it.
I wish you were here.
I hate the empty, lonely nights without you by my side.
For the first time tonight I thought why you, why you. You gave so much to life and for your time serving our country.
i just want you here, beside me to hold, and to reassure me that everythings going to be alright.
i love you so much Alex, always will, forever, always.
The days come and go and I always think of you. You are the first i see when I wake and the last I see when I sleep.
Not a day goes by when I dont wish I could see your face here on the pillow or have you hold me for one last time.
I can only hope that you are watching me night and day and that because of you being in my life I will keep strong until I see you again one day.
I love you Mr J with all my heart and always will. Nothing could ever make me smile like you would make me. You were my world, my rock and soul mate.
Loving you always, forever. Mrs J. xx
